Repairs and Upgrades

Some of our services are listed below. If you don't see a service you need in the list, please contact us. We can come and work on-site at your location, provide pickup/delivery services, or you may bring your computer to our office.

We are a lot cheaper than Office Depot, Best Buy and other major chains and we do our utmost to provide the best customer service experience.

Our typical hourly rate is $80 with a 1 hour minimum charge. Prices listed below are for labor only and priced at an estimated time to complete the repair (representing a savings). If any accessories, software or hardware for the repair needs to be purchased, we will get your approval of the updated quote first before proceeding. We may ask for payment up front for the purchase of the hardware on your behalf. Our prices will be as reasonable as we can make it.

Prices and rates are always negotiable.

Our work is guaranteed for one year from the date of service. That applies to the services performed and not new issues or problems (unless proven to be caused by the technician doing the work).

Computer diagnostics - $40

System troubleshooting to identify issues that cause system problems, such as lack of speed, loss of internet connectivity, "blue screens of death", malicious adware/spyware, viruses, and so on. If diagnostic services are completed and you decide NOT to have the recommended service performed, a charge of $40 will be assessed. If you do decide to have the recommended service performed, then a $40 discount will be given, making the diagnostic service effectively "free".

VoIP (Voice over IP) Installation/Setup - $80

Includes hooking up the router to an existing cable or DSL modem, router setup (so that network printers may be used) including wired/wireless network configuration, installing one (1) phone and testing the system to ensure it works. For multiple phones (or wiring the whole location), it will be $199.

Data Transfer - $160

Transfer all of your data or files from one PC to another. This also includes backing the files up online using an online backup service (such as SkyDrive, Sentinal, SOSonline or other service). If you purchase a monthly online backup service through us, you will receive a 50% discount on the data transfer labor cost, which will be a one-time fee.

Data Recovery - $199

If you cannot boot into Windows due to a corrupted hard disk, we will remove your hard drive and recover and transfer all information on to DVDs, online service or a working laptop/desktop.

Restore/reinstall Operating System - $160

Install operating system (Windows, Linux, Mac OS); install any updates and install all drivers, using user supplied system disks. If no disks provided, then there will be a charge for OS purchase.

Printer Installation - $80

Installation of printer, including drivers and software on all PCs/laptops. Configuration of wireless printers and printer sharing across network.

Optical Drive (DVD/CD) Installation - $60

Installation of internal DVD/CD drive on desktop or laptop. Includes installation of bundled software that comes with drive.

Memory Installation - $40

Installation of memory for PC or laptop. Includes configuration settings in BIOS or OS for optimum performance.

New PC/Laptop Setup - $80

Configuration of system for users, optimizing system resources, system updates installation, home networking setup, printer setup and up to two additional software applications.

Advanced Security Setup (Includes Internet Security software) - $160

Personalizing the computer to your needs; remove any unnecessary clutter; installation of critical updates and installation of security and privacy software. System restore CD creation included.

Wired/Wireless Network Setup - $160

Configuration and set-up secure network (from cable or DSL modem) and router installation (both wired/wireless). Includes configuration of network printer or wireless printer so all computers can print. Up to two laptops configured for wireless access.

Software Installation - $80

Installation of one titled software and configuration for best performance, including downloading and installing all updates.

Motherboard Replacement - $140

Replace motherboard and configuration of new motherboard for best performance.

Motherboard Repair - $225

Repair of motherboard components due to no video, no POST, etc. An alternative to a new motherboard which may cost up to $500!

Hard drive Installation - $140

Removal of old hard drive and installation of new hard drive. Formatting of hard drives and configurations of new partitions and installation of bundled software.

Spyware/virus removal - $160

Complete removal of malicious programs on a PC/laptop, including but not limited to Trojans, adware, malware, viruses and other suspicious objects. Includes restoration of lost functionality (missing icons, restoring a PC to a previous restore point).

Round-the-clock IT services - $250 per month and up

No contract required! Service provided on a month-to-month basis!

We will be on-call for your company to assist with any of your needs remotely (and on-site when you need us). For residential customers using 1 or 2 computers, cost would be $250. For small businesses with a server and 2-3 computers, our minimum is $500. For larger businesses, it will be more, however, we do our best to be reasonable. This will definitely be your best savings compared with paying our normal charge for the amount of hours you may accrue.
